The Shook Ones Play the Viaduct Tomorrow

340d/1248811919-shookonesviaduct.jpgThis is important information to know, because this is possibly the last local show for the Shook Ones this summer. I wrote more about the band's latest record, The Unquotable A.M.H., in this week's Underage column (which will be online tomorrow), but to make a long story short: this album is one of the best records of the summer, for the summer and you should embrace this last opportunity to see them while the sun is still shining (and melting all of our faces off).

After seeing the songs played live at last week's West Seattle American Legion Hall show, I can promise you that their performance is worth a trek to Tacoma. Even in the heat.

The show's all ages, costs $10 and starts at 7 pm.

I was. And they were great. I also liked that pop punk band that played before the Golden Age. No Harm Done, was that their name? Do you remember? I'm a sucker for pop punk.
