..the real question should be: why is Jay Reatard still playing at Amoeba in-stores after recently doing a ton of coke in the Hollywood Amoeba greenroom, berating the experienced sound person, getting booed off stage and then trashing the fuck out of the place? Just a little heads up for those in charge of the Seattle record stores :D

I don't get the record store shows idea. What's it supposed to accomplish? Is it Matador's way of "giving something back" to the mom & pops that carry their product? Can't see Jay getting much out of it -- no ticket sales or merch table, small crowds.
