Next month the Get Up Kids are celebrating the release of their 10-year-old classic Something to Write Home About, by releasing an anniversary edition featuring a DVD with live performances, behind the scenes footage, never before heard demos, and more. Here's the trailer:
The deluxe version will be in stores September 8th. The Get Up Kids play Neumo's Friday, Sept 18th. Tickets are on sale now.
Even after 10 years, that "woo" in "Close to Home" is still spectacular.

Will be there with bells on. So glad I don't have to drive to San Francisco to see them again like I did on their final tour!
