We lacked space in the paper to include this show, but you may want to check out supremely gifted and versatile guitarist Adrian Belew at Triple Door. In addition to a long-running solo career of moderate commercial success and tenure in the Bears, Belew's been a crucial auxiliary axeman for important artists like Talking Heads (he played on Remain in Light), King Crimson (Discipline; been a member since 1981), David Bowie (Lodger), Frank Zappa (Sheik Yerbouti, Baby Snakes), and Tom Tom Club (the self-titled debut), among others.
