Every Year, About This Time...

I have to list to AFI's The Art Of Drowning.

I don't care how ridiculous the band has become over the years (more so than we could've ever imagined, surprisingly)—The Art of Drowning is still a great punk rock record and it always sounds best in late October.

Son of Sam's "Songs from the Earth" does the trick too if AFI makes you feel all icky now. All the horrory stuff is there, Davey doesn't whine so much, and Danzig even plays guitar and sings on some of it.

I always throw in some old AFI and that Son of Sam record with my normal mix of Misfits/Samhain/Danzig and Type O Negative.
