Tonight / Song Go and Tell it to the Trees

One more for these guys:
Portland doom metal band Trees (no relation) play the Comet tonight with PussyGutt, Story of Rats, and Same Sex Dictator.

Last time Trees played the Comet Tavern it was fun watching people pouring outside with their fingers in their ears. The Were Amazing and brutal.

I can't believe I never saw the video before.
Pulp's We Love Life was a sour, exhausted, (possible) final statement for the band, and it hasn't improved much over time, but "The Trees" is easily the best moment on there.
Although the use of "Sunrise" for the apocalyptic climax to the Mr. Hoppy story in 'Monkey Dust' comes close.
