Genius Zia's Town

This weekend, I visited Zia Mohajerjasbi (this year's genius for film—the party for the award is happening on Nov, 13 at The Moore Theater) on the set for a video he is shooting for Macklemore's new tune, ""The Town":
The set was on the roof of the Kawabe Memorial House (the K building), which has ten floors and a sweeping view of the richly unfolding autumn.
Above, Maklemore and DV One; below them, our town an hour before dusk. Zia is aiming to complete the video in time for the Genius Awards.
