Seattle trio Salmon Thrasher consist of two sound engineers (Evan LaSure and Justin Ripley of Showbox and Neumos) and a photographer (Tara Sloan, drummer for What What Now).

They're new and the two songs they have on their MySpace remind me of a number of lo-fi bands from the '90s (Pavement, Guided by Voices, Butterglory, Grifters, about half of the Merge Records roster from the Clinton era, etc.). You might like them.
