It took a month, but Dark Time Sunshine's album Believeyoume has finally captured my imagination.
Onry Ozzborn is one of the minds behind this bold project, which has a more coherent, melodic, and lush sound than Ozzborn's even bolder 2008 project,
The Gigantics. There is also a touch of triphop lyricism in this mix or big beats, dark raps, and cosmic dust. Ozzborn is inexhaustible.
By the way, I rate Oldominion's One as the greatest hiphop album to come out of the Pacific Northwest. Two is, of course, SLP's Soul Liquor, and three is Framework's Hello World.
