Moniker Changes Everything: They Live! Now Called Mash Hall

Posted by on Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 12:47 PM

Make a note of it: Seattle hiphop dynamos They Live! have changed their name to Mash Hall. According to a recent Twitter post, the change came about because "a shitty horror-punk group" already staked a claim to the name They Live. (Wait, are there good horror-punk groups?)

If you own any They Live! merch or recordings, you now possess collectors items. The last They Live! show takes place Fri. Jan. 29 at High Dive, with Champagne Champagne and Wild Orchid Children also on the bill.

From now on, Mash Hall will be your shit. Make a note of it.
