Comedians and Indie Superstars Join Forces to Fight Cancer

Posted by on Tue, Jan 26, 2010 at 4:03 PM

This will be awesome:

On February 11th the Moore Theatre hosts "Defriending Cancer," a benefit/variety show featuring comedians Todd Barry, Neil Hamburger, Tim Heidecker (from Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), Natashe Leggero (a regular on Chelsea Lately), Eugene Mirman, and Tig Notaro (featured on the Sarah Silverman Program). The evening will also include solo musical performances from James Mercer of the Shins and Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse. Neat!

The evening is a benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and tickets just went on sale this weekend— they're available here for $28-$48 bucks.

Now here's Todd Barry on Conan (I don't know what happens to the video about three minutes in, but it's still funny):

This should be hilarious.
