Oh surprise surprise. Douche bags acting like douche bags.
This guy, his "band" and all the clubs letting them play bum me out. What is this crap? No substance, no thought, no soul, just bad taste perpetuated by more bad taste. Hey guys write a song about chicks, beer and how awesome you are. Good Job. Way to think out of the cliche box.

Mad Rad are the Seattle equivalent of Heidi & Spencer Pratt. The press in Seattle should self impose a media black-out on these talentless hipster dorks, like the E! channel did to the Pratts.

Hey Dude in Fresh Espresso! That act is good, you should distance yourself from the losers you surround yourself with in Mad Rad.

# 2 &3,

Yeah sold out clubs and lines down the block suck. Club owners hate that. And obviously, you're right people don't want to see them. Haha.

What bums me out is jealous assholes like yourself.

Just Because its popular doesn't make it GOOD. I'm looking at you Limp Bizkit, Celine Dion, MTV, UGGS.

I agree with the blackout idea, let D-List magazine cover this shit.

There is always a flavor of the month. And it never has longevity. Just look at the cast of any reality show. The only people that care about this band are the self important shit head douchbags like the members of the band themselves. And by the way, where is ALL these fans supportive comments? Oh, too busy doing coke in some fucking bathroom.

Gotta agree with what has already been said.

Just because something is popular/hyped into the ground (The Stranger is shut-case guilty of this) does not make it good, let alone able to listen to. Mad Rad are the "Limp Bizkit" of the now. Shitty rhymes, uninspired beats, BIG FUCKIN' EGO'S.

Wow, never seen that before in the book of white kid raps...(End Sarcasm)

If The Stranger tells you to buy/support their music, think for yourself and do the opposite. Just say no to douche bags and douchebaggery...

Mad Rad are great. Haters are funny.

Don't like em, why are you here? Preaching about how lame they are? Do you not realize how lame you are by doing that? You don't like them? Fine, go away. Don't comment. Go do whatever it is you do. Go read whatever other blogs you read. Go listen to whatever band you listen to. Go play in whatever band you play in. Commenting only shows that whatever Mad Rad do, it gets noticed. By you. By people. Why, because you're interested. If Mad Rad suck so bad, why do you bother to comment? If you don't like it, just skip it, since you obviously have so much other better shit going on.

News Flash for the haters - every show Mad Rad plays is extremely well attended. People love them. People want to see them and hear them and they have fun at their shows. I know that disappoints you. Sorry.

Do you really think your bitching about Mad Rad is going to stop them? Or stop people from liking them?

It’s not so much about the band, but more so for the spoiled, self entitled attitude he puts off. For those of us who actually work hard to support ourselves and families, he’s a straight up dick. I commented on this story long before I knew who he was. There are more and more people like him coming around, mostly from the east side and 1st ave Belltown, that feel they are just entitled to do what they will, but they are wrong. Never forget courtesy and respect.

Can't say I'm a Mad Rad lover, but yesterday one of their songs came up on shuffle and I thought it was N*E*R*D. That is a compliment.

@7: Please reread what you wrote: "think for yourself and do the opposite" -- that phrase makes no goddamn sense. If you wrote "think for yourself and then do what you think you want to do" we'd be cool. Instead, you sound like Bitterpants McGee.

Prediction: P Smoov will have a long career in hip hop if he wants it. The other 2 dudes will be lucky if people still know who they are in 5 years (and that "luck" will probably be pronounced "P Smoov").

That's only a few blocks from my house. I would've imagined that Radjaw lived in a cooler neighborhood.

Get a grip: This was NYE. People make out in cabs on NYE. The cab driver was being a dick. Radjaw ducked out. Poor form? Sure, but it's not like he stole land from the Palestinians.

Dear Members of Mad Rad,

It has become apparent that when you guys get really drunk, you have a strong tendency to do some really stupid shit and act like real assholes. Maybe it is time to back off on the booze. Yeah, I know, it sucks. Moderation and sobriety are not cool or hip in any way. But we all have to grow up sometime. I am sure that your fans and supporters would rather see you on stage than in jail.

Sincerely,
Hernandez

They weren't having sex in the cab. There was no physical altercation. The cab driver provoked them and did some threatening of his own. The knife that the girl took out wasn't really a 'weapon', and she took it out in self defense. And Radjaw wasn't even there when the knife was drawn. Maybe 2 sides of the story?

How the hell did the cab driver provoke them? He provided a service, he asked them to stop(see original police report, not just read the smoke blown up their ass from the Stranger), they threw a fit like little brats, and tried to get out of paying. Trust me, the cab driver would have preferred things go a lot smoother, than spend his busy NYE night WORKING, dealing with a couple of white bread shitfucks. And all this hype will last all of 3 months before thay are all forgotten about. That scene has no substance. Drugs, drunk, next lay, $ runs out, rehab/un-employment, new generation, repeat.
