Comeback comes back, as Comeback is indeed wont to do. Tonight. The last Friday of the month, just like always. Regular like, see? To relentlessly mark out the last Fridays of the dying months of our lives with sweaty fags and disco beats.

Sigh...

Well, anyhoozits: Do you know who DJ Freddy King of Pants is? He’s been popping up at everything lately (like Frankenboot and Tiniest Tea Dance), and he’s popping up at Comeback tonight, along with the regulars. It’s a $6 cover from 9pm-11pm, more after that, and I do wonder what the crowd turnout will be like, because it’s always a crapshoot when it’s raining. And why should a little rain stop anyone from doing anything in this drenched sponge we call a city is flippin’ beyond me, let me tell you. Wussy-ass fags. It’s not like your gonna melt. 1325 East Madison, $5, 10pm.

Forgive me, please. It’s all this damn, relentless, evil rain. It gets me like this sometimes.

New! New! New! And just how new, new, new? Well, there is going to be “rare hip hop, funk, bass, and lo-fi,” spun at The Eagle, and that sounds pretty damn new to me, lady. (Also singular! And rather unheard of!) Promoters have chosen to call the new night, “A SLOW SEXY HIP HOPPY KINDA THANG HAPPENIN AT THE EAGLE,”, and they do it in, yes, that’s right, ALL CAPS. (PAY ATTENTION! THEY REALLY MEAN IT!) DJ Dapper Dandy and DJ Klik. The Eagle, 314 East Pike, 9pm, and listen here, cheap-o: it’s FREE!

And, lastly, DRK at Re-Bar!
More new, new newness! DJs Turk and Nark and Jusofine kick off tonight at this party for “people working together to promote particular theories or principles of a laissez faire life style.” (Well. Okay, then. Whatever lifts your luggage or whatever.) 1114 East Howell, 10pm, $3 cover.
