And we're off.
Now celebrating its 40th Anniversary, this will be our first Glastonbury, the largest music festival in the world, the eye on top of the pyramid looking out at the sea of imitators, safe in the knowledge that something like a yearly, largely non-corporate mass gathering can exist and even thrive, all set to a real-time soundtrack of your choice.
We're sure to be found in front of at least Pet Shop Boys, 808 State, Drugstore, Kelis, Candi Staton, Ray Davies, Annie Mac, Bez's Acid House, Snap!, Shakira, These New Puritans, Jamie T, Baggy Mondays, Ash, and Gorillaz.
But look at the madness.
Starting Thursday, for updates, there's BBC's official coverage, which you should under absolutely no reason listen and watch with a U.K. proxy.
Or the two main Twitter feeds. Or the on-site radio station.
Or the mounds of content that'll pop up on The Flickrs, The YouTubes, etc.
Big smiles.
We'll have at it for Seattle.
