The Fun Police

It's all fun and games until your massive island of floaties gets towed.

Kudos to the (possibly intoxicated) rebel band at Denny-Blaine this afternoon, who consolidated their pool toys into one united state of summertime fun. Everything was going well until they (allegedly) tied their floating utopia to a buoy (Or maybe just floated out too far? Anyone involved care to confirm?) and were summarily towed closer to shore by the SPD, to the cheers of the standing-room-only crowd.

I was there, we where tied to the buoy, but that was not the problem. If you are going to be in a on anything that floats more than 50ft from shore you have to have a life jacket, as explained by the very understanding officer. On that note he offered us a tow, rather than tickets, seeing as he also had also owns a large raft like we where on and understood how hard they are to paddle/pull. Great day, cool cop, no hard feelings all around. Happy birthday James

Whoever posted before me nailed it, you cannot be that far out with out life jackets, but thanks for the photos of the day, no one (we were possibly intoxicated) seemed to get any. Also thanks to the cop for the free tow, it is a PAIN to swim those things all over the place
