J.Pinder Leaves Seattle

Posted by on Tue, Aug 3, 2010 at 11:49 AM

J.Pinder, young gun of the Town, has departed the 206 for the ATL, then possibly to other climes as he sees fit. With a couple mixtapes and a crucial EP under his belt, Pinder showed growth and style guided by town legends J.Moore, Vitamin D and Jake One. Out from under their umbrella, Pinder is on to the next phase of his adventure on the Atlantic seaboard. I do hate to see another local talent fly the coop but I wish him much luck and look forward to hearing much more music. "Go Far", off his EP Code Red, amongst Pinder's forlorn vocals, seemingly predicted this cross-country move—but his recent posse cut "Tougher" has probably the most steezeladen lines of Pinder's young career. It sounds like he knows the work has barely begun.
