Are Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and Kesha (I Refuse to Spell Her Name with That Fucking Dollar Symbol) the Same Person?

This damning evidence suggests that they are:

Good luck listening all the way to the end—I got halfway through it and my headphones started to smoke, forcing me to turn it off and listen to this soothing, pretty song in an attempt to decompress.

Thanks for the tip, Andrew.

Eh, popular music sells. Don't fix what ain't broke. I'm sure you could do this with many different genres of music.

Agree with @1.

There's nothing particularly shocking about multiple pop songs in the same key matching up for the most part. TikTok and California Gurls are very good matches, but the Cyrus song is a stretch.

You would think they would switch up the song structure a bit at least.

Ehh, while extremely similar, this can be said of electronia too. Same speeds, breakdowns, build-ups, etc.

this has been done before with two Linkin Park songs, as well as Nickelback. Same keys, the verses and choruses all start and end at almost the same exact. Personally, I am shocked that brainless pop music is formulaic!

Well, hardly anyone in pop seems to write their own generic crap any more so it's become distilled highly repetitive generic crap. There's an illusion of variety with all the faces ("artists") put on the end product, but there's not that many composers working behind the scenes. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Matrix_…

Is it just me, or does Cyrus look like Megan Fox with that excess of makeup? Either one is far prettier sans trowel.
