don't care, I broke up with VW and just want my money back. they took a bad and possibly unavoidable situation and made it ten times worse. the 90 minute wait in the dark, the fact that the remaining band members couldn't be bothered to show up on stage to break the news to the audience, the time wasted in a sea of traffic, and the failure to communicate afterwards in a timely manner. they'd probably cancel at the last minute at the paramount just to mess with us.

Ticketmaster is clueless about this. I've been bouncing between customer service people for 20 minutes.

Well, won't be in town. Third time trying to see this god damned band ending in failure once again. At least I got to see Beach House for free.

Vampire Weekend has gravely disappointed me by being merely human. I refuse to be consoled. The pain I feel is unbearable. I will bear this grudge until it consumes me.

@5 The complaints are pretty much worthy though, you gotta admit...how fucking hard is it for the other members to come on stage and let everyone know why? apparently way way too difficult. (and I wasn't even there!)

If there is one thing i've learned about in 28 years of life is: have direct communication, be honest and forward about shit like this as soon as possible....delaying the announcement just pisses everyone off...and this applies in so so so many situations in life, especially in the work place & romantic relationships

I'm not a VW fan, but I just heard this and thought ya'll might want to know...

If buy a new ticket from the Paramount box office, and have your original [Ticketmaster] ticket refunded, you'll save about $12. If you buy a new ticket from the Paramount's ticket service online you'll still save a dollar or two.

Come on, these guys are being pretty decent. They've come back for two nights, instead of one, and they are offering a refund if you don't want to go at all. If you're waiting for them to come onstage and commit ritual suicide because they got sick and missed a show, then maybe you're too invested in pop music
