When Squares Throw Down Pt.3

Posted by on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 12:15 PM

This is the third installment of a (most likely) short series of random posts regarding great tracks performed by artists assumed to be, or are in fact, squares.

Mel Torme'.

Yes, the Velvet Frog...he's a pop vocalist from a billion years ago, you're grandparents knew who he was. And he was on that Seinfeld episode where Kramer acted like he was "challenged" know, that one?!

Damn Nipper, don't you know 'bout this much more visually appealing version, complete with a sodden Judy Garland intro (she appears to forget his name). And of course all the old, cool Hondas.…

Wow guys, one lame song, that two different people did. Amazing. Let me guess Nipper, you'll be spinning this gem at the next ECSC gig. Both of you guys are dorks.

Same guy, dipshit. Resurgence in popularity of song due to English movie. And old Hondas are pretty killer. You are an idiot.

Oh, you're right. It is the same guy doing the same stupid song. I am an idiot. But it dose not change the simple fact that you are a dork. Confirmed by "old Hondas are pretty killer"

Still hating via internet with ridiculous spelling? "Dose"? Really? Sorry I'm not into the latest Lady Googoo meat outfit or whatever is cool with jaded 20-somethings like you these days, but at least you're smart enough to realize your own idiocy. You hate cool old music, you hate cool old bikes... what are you into? Sitting in a corner, smoking a cigarette, looking fey, crying and beating off at the same time?

Oh shit, never mind. You're the geek who made a rap about the Sonics. You're right, your taste in music is way, way better than mine.
