Top 5 Favorite Christian Artists

Posted by on Tue, Jan 4, 2011 at 4:03 PM

Off the top of my head, five god-fearing folk whose music I love regardless of any theological differences (see also, like, all of hip hop and r&b...and then there's reggae—anyway):

1. Stuart "Go off and see a minister" Murdoch, Belle & Sebastian:

2. Sufjan "He came to take us" Stevens:

3. Craig "How a resurrection really feels" Finn, the Hold Steady:

4. Jeff "I love you, Jesus Christ" Mangum, Neutral Milk Hotel:

5. Tit Pig

Saying "If You're Feeling Sinister" endorses religion doesn't make a lot of sense, since it ends with endorsing jacking it instead.
