I LOVE LOVE LOVE heavy R&B work outs like this!! "Stanky" ain't got no verse, ain't got no chorus, but it don't NEED none of that shit. All it has needs is Mr. Davis tellin' his story, that solid back beat, and a bass line to drive you straight to the dance floor!!! But then I wouldn't expect anything less from Mr. Davis, uh-huh...he was a staff writer/producer AND head of Chess Records' A&R department during the mid-'60's!!
Stoked, I got a copy TODAY...ima play it till it's wore out.
