Where Should I Go Watch The Super Bowl and/or Lil Wayne Is a Big Fat Cheesehead

F-you Steelers!
  • F-you Steelers!
Hey, did you know Lil Wayne is officially a cheesehead?! He even wrote a song about it: "Green and Yellow". 'Yea, ah-hah, you know what it is/I'm cheesehead/y'all niggas Cheese Whiz'

GREEN AN' YELLOW, GREEN AN' YELLOW!

Cheesy, or not cheesy? Listen.

On a related note, what's the best Seattle bar to watch Super Bowl XLV this Sunday? And by "best", I mean rowdiest. And by rowdiest, I mean "drunkiest".

The Twilight Exit promises to be drunky, rowdy and debaucherous for sure. Sadly the screen is not giant, but I don't think that will be a huge concern.

Moe Bar. Bringing in a 3rd TV and a projector and screen for the back wall. I remember ordering 36 shots a couple of years ago towards the end of the game...

I'd recommend The Ballroom, but only if you promise not to wander drunkenly into the street afterwards.

Either that or Costco.

But @4 has a good suggestion. They have a few large TV sets there.

If I were going to a local bar, I'd probably pick the Lookout. And if I wanted to watch it on a really big screen, I'd check out Cinebarre. http://cinebarre.com/locations/seattle-w…

But really, the best thing is somebody's house. It's the best food and the most alcohol option.

Moe Bar? Twilight Exit? Do you people ever get off the hill?

Kelly, none of these people have a clue what they are talking about. Goofy's is a crusty bar up on 15th ave NW and 85th. It is THE Seattle Packers Bar, and will very likely be insane this Sunday.

Yeah, big fucking difference between the Hill and Central District. Like a block?

If she wants rowdy, she will find a way up there, bus or no bus. And I'm pretty sure there has to be a bus.

@10 they just rerouted the 15 and 18, so you might want to check the new schedule for the 15 bus route ... which, predictably, runs along ... 15th Ave NW.

Also, I think the 67 goes from the U Dist to Ballard via Northgate, and goes down to about 15th Ave NW and NW 85th, but check it out using the Metro Trip Planner first. Make sure you use the correct Day of the Week, of course.

@10 exactly, I don't have a car and don't want to pay drunk cab fare to get home later. Sticking close to home is where it's at.

CD for life!

Seattle's biggest , little sports bar, The Spectator. It has 14 more screens than Moe Bar , even if Steven brings a TV from home :)

The 5 Point. The rowdiest crowd by far. And, unlimited Miller High Life or Miller lite, and unlimited wings, for $40. Gonna be fun. (and we just added new speakers to the TV's, so y'all can hear them)
