Upcoming DJAO & the Dilla Day Celebration @ Electric Tea Garden Feb. 10

One of my favorite local producer/DJs, DJAO—about whom I wrote in this piece—is spinning a chopped & screwed set at Electric Tea Garden, 10 pm Thurs. Feb. 10 in honor of Dilla Day, a celebration of the late, legendary hiphop producer J Dilla (James DeWitt Yancey), who passed away five years ago on that date, age 32.
DJAO also will appear Tues. Feb. 22 at the Stop Biting Beatmakers' Showcase at Lo-Fi Performance Gallery. Check out one of his recent mixes below.
