Dancing Happy Birthday Christopher "Kid" Reid!

Forty-seven years ago today, the power entity known as Yahweh summoned up all of it's mighty forces and gave Christopher "Kid" Reid to the planet earth.

Reid was born to Jamaican & Irish parents in The Bronx, New York City where he went to high school and college before becoming half of the duo Kid 'n Play. Eventually, Kid 'n Play released three LPs and four feature length films including House Party, House Party 2, and House Party 3. They are known for their many dance steps, especially the Funky Charleston, seen here:
Reid went on to act on a number of television shows, while also continuing to compose music. In 2008 he appeared on the VH1 reality magician game show called Celebracadabra. In case you didn't read that correctly, I'll type it again: the VH1 reality magician game show called Celebracadabra.
Reid currently lives in Akron, Ohio.
