Gabriel Teodros x DJ Ian Head - "Computer Parlor"

Posted by on Tue, Apr 19, 2011 at 9:45 AM

Soulful, truthful, simple, effective. Dope. These are also apt descriptors for Gabriel Teodros, traveler and heartful hometown hero, who has seriously refined himself as one of the town's sharpest commentators. This song and it's oft-repeated-yet-not-heeded-enough sentiment (ie: log off) is off the great, but brief, Lentil Soup EP Teodros created with the prolific Brooklyn-based PDX expat Ian Head. You can, and should, get it here.

As the Stranger site itself tells you as you log out (unless you're an unregistered troll type): good luck out there.

"What's the deal with the internet, am I right?"

This song is like XKCD for kids who think the internet is nothing more than Young Berg chain sightings on World Star and Twitter hashtags about how much Souljah Boy sucks.

I expect more from this guy. As much as he's always on about something preachy you'd think he wouldn't have such a lazy, cynical take on the tools that are democratizing the world.

This song is about 10 past it's shelf date.
