Media Stupid Interview Questions Overheard at Sasquatch

Sitting in Sasquatch's media tent, it's relatively easy (and very fun) to eavesdrop on *real* music writers interviewing bands about their music. I readily admit I'm not a *real* music writer—it didn't occur to me that I could line up interviews with bands. (Politicians, yes. Bands? No.)

But even so, I bet I (or anyone with a mouth) could come up with better questions than these few I overheard over the course of two days:

"Can you describe your sound?"
"If your music were a man, what would he say?"
"What do you think fans would be most interested in knowing about you?"

Man oh man, if that isn't delightfully lazy journalism, I don't know what is.

So you are calling them lazy for doing the very thing you were too lazy/inept to do in the first place?

You're criticizing music writers for not asking interesting questions in their band interviews? ummm, did you guys actually read your own sasquatch coverage?

Yeah Cienna, what band wouldn't want to answer those questions, and who wouldn't want to read those answers? Geez!
