2/3 of the West Memphis 3 to be Freed After Admitting Alleged Guilt

Though details are scant, word on the street is that two members of the West Memphis 3 will be released in the near future after admitting some sort of alleged guilt. If you've never seen the incredible documentaries on the subject, I suggest having a look at Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills & Paradise Lost 2: Revelations.

"There's supposed to be a gag order on this but they're not going to gag me. They can put me in jail if they want to. I'll go to jail to stand up for my son's rights," said Steve Branch, father of victim Stevie Branch, regarding the news of the release.

One of the most interesting characters in this saga is John Mark Byers, the adoptive father of victim Christopher Byers. His initial fury against the accused later changed to a plea for their release. And his level of creepiness is though the roof.

"Admitting Alleged Guilt" is a bit misleading. The Plea Deal they're apparently making today acknowledges that the state has evidence against them but that it's no good. That evidence of course being Metallica T-Shirts and Stephen King novels. It's Arkansas' way of standing tall.

They're all innocent and will all be freed at the same time.
