What Is the Best Intelligence song?

Lars Finberg of the Intelligence, last year, pre-Genius.

The Intelligence recently earned The Stranger's 2011 Genius award for music. It's a well-deserved honor. As I've been re-immersing myself in the band's catalog lately, I've realized that it's very hard to pick a favorite track from among their six albums and 14 singles and EPs. Right now, my top song is "Cheer Up Switch," but it fluctuates from day to day—if not hour to hour. How about you? What's your favorite Intelligence track? Vote in the poll below. [Note: "Estate Sales" is the correct title. Apologies.]

The Intelligence—led by sole constant member Lars Finberg—will be awarded their prize at The Stranger's ninth annual Genius Award party Fri. Sept. 16 at the Moore Theatre. This is going to be a heady shindig featuring performances by Wheedle's Groove and Wild Orchid Children, plus DJ sets by OC Notes and Emerald City Soul Club. You can get tickets here.

I would have to go with "Lifepreserver". Other candidates are "Sailor Dives", "Nice Tries", "Horse Glue", "Astrology", "Moon Beeps" (which originally sucked me in), "Bad Siren", "The Night Belongs To Microphones" and a whole slew of others that I cannot think of right now. The Pretenders and Wounded Lion covers should not be forgotten.

Thank You God For Fixing The Tape Machine. Also, pretty much everything #8 said with Telephone Wires and Pony People added...
