Merch / Zzzzzzzzzzzzz Torso Awesome: Your Most Treasured Band Shirts

If you’re seriously into music, you’ve probably accumulated a closetful of band shirts and other logo-laden paraphernalia. I certainly have. Of all the shirts in my wardrobe, about 10 really stand out. For this very important post, though, I’ve narrowed my most covetable garments to three. These are so great that even rad Ts with a hideous image from Aphex Twin’s Come to Daddy video and one for Miles Davis’ Complete On the Corner Sessions box set didn’t make the cut. What are your favorite band shirts that you own? Pics, or you're lying.
- Glows in the dark, motherfucker.
- A veritable aphrodisiac in some circles.
- If I were as popular as this shirt, I'd have gone Platinum many times over by now.

I had, and have since lost, a treasured black long-sleeved Melvins' shirt that read in giant neon green letters on the front: FUCK MELVINS. And on the back: LOUDER THAN SOUNDGARDEN.

what is that top shirt? all 3 are top tier, btw.
i have a tie-dyed ratty/holey grateful dead tour t-shirt from ~1989 that i pretty much only wear while doing housework and as an undershirt under a think wool shirt. i love the dead, but it's a bit embarrassing to wear in public. i also have a green ted leo/rx t-shirt i'm wearing now. that's it, otherwise. i need more band t-shirts.

I covet that Can t-shirt. My faves: Blondie, Daptone, Nick Drake, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Arthur Lee, Nina Simone, Queen, the Who, and Björk (two; one for Selmasongs).

i had a skin tight, threadbare, sleeveless white talking heads shirt that simply read Stop Making Sense in the classic black/red font. my mom threw it out one day because it was "too revealing."
