I love Thee Oh Sees, but the price of this collaboration with Glasgow artist David Shrigley is just too rich for my blood. (More pics here.) Then again, I do have a birthday coming up, so if you're feeling generous: don't let me stop you.

This is hardly Shrigley's first foray into the music world as his CV includes videos for Blur ("Good Song") and Bonnie Prince Billy ("Agnes, Queen of Sorrow").

In addition, he's issued spoken-word recordings, contributed bits to Late Night Tales, and designed 12 different covers for Deerhoof's Friend Opportunity. Aside from John Dwyer and co., his work has inspired entire albums from Jason Mraz (We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.) and R. Stevie Moore (Shrigley Field).
But £129.99 for a seven-inch single??!!
