Dream Hampton is the hiphop journalist and cultural critic who made her name as, among other things, the first female editor of The Source, as well as the co-author of Jay-Z's awesome memoir Decoded. When Seattle's Night School asked Hampton who she'd most like to chat up as part of the Chamber series, Hampton answered, "Kimya Dawson," the writer, artist, and musician I gush about here.

Tonight at 8 pm at the Sorrento, Dream Hampton and Kimya Dawson will sit down in a swanky ballroom and talk, and Kimya will play some songs, and you can get tickets here.

And tonight at 7 pm at the Sorrento, I'll be sitting down with Dream Hampton and Kimya Dawson for a 20-minute pre-chat that will involve at least one Kimya song and will be streamed live on Slog starting at 7 pm.

Got a question you want me to ask Hampton or Dawson? Leave it in the comments.
