Feeling stressed-out? Let New York's Young Magic relax you with their remix of Martin Denny's "The Enchanted Sea." Along with "The Quiet Village," Mr. Denny hit the Top 40 with the original. The remix is lovely, but at 1:55 minutes: too short.

Martin Denny - The Enchanted Sea (Young Magic Trip) by Young Magic

Born in the Big Apple, Tiki God Martin Denny (1911-2005) was living in his adopted home of Hawai'i at the time of his death. As for Young Magic, the trio includes two Australians (Isaac Emmanuel and Michael Italia) and one Indonesian (Melati Malay). In October, they released their second single on Carpark Records.

Here's the B-side (the A is "Night in the Ocean"). According to the press notes, it "comes from a debut album that is becoming accidentally grand in scope and vision, recorded in over 10 countries around the world, and out [in] early 2012."

And here's the single they released in February ("You with Air" b/w "Sparkly"):

I'm feeling the Muslimgauze meets Shabazz Palaces artwork. Young Magic is on tour through November with Youth Lagoon (no Northwest dates as of yet).
