Have you read this week's feature, A Very 99 Percent Holiday, yet? You should. It's great. It tells you where you should (and where you shouldn't) spend your money this holiday season, should you not be interested in supporting the greedy 1% (damn the man!). Within that feature there is also a suggested list of great local records, released by independent labels, sure to please any music fan on your list.

And speaking of independent labels and spending money and such, K Records is having a holiday sale! Says their latest newsletter:
