As usual, local bands are getting in the spirit with new winter/christmas/holiday songs. Here's a rundown of what's new this year (if you have more to add, leave 'em in the comments or send me a link).

On Wednesday Brent Amaker & the Rodeo officially released their new holiday single, "A Very Brent Amaker Christmas." Download it for free, here!

Another Gray Christmas 5 was released, featuring this Larry Mizell, Jr.-approved track by Portland's Taco Neck featuring iAMe:

Assumption, IL (if you like the Young Evils, you just might like them!) sing about the magical day that is known as "Snow Day":

Colonies has covered the Beach Boys (with clarinet action!):

And, these have already been posted on Line Out, but it's worth repeating: Damien Jurado covered "Christmastime Is Here," Choklate has released Fa la la la la: The Christmas EP (see her first single here), and Exohxo have released their annual Christmas EP.

Happy holidaying!
