Do you stay at home to scream at the television or do you have more a more bro'mantic time at a rowdy bar with a couple dozen of your friends? I'm usually for the latter because I usually don't even know which teams are playing until the day of, and I highly depend on one of the bar's loudest self-appointed team leaders—the Bromander in Chief—to keep me updated on what's happening on the screens. I like the noise. I wanna see if Madonna's nipple slips. Ooh, and I'd like to make one of these for everyone to eat—just look at it! Where should I go? What's the best bar in Seattle for the Super Bowl?

@1 ftw, with #3 close runner up.

But, other good choices are Fremont Fire Pit, RoRo BBQ on Stone Way N, and the Red Door (pitchers of cider, fries, and sliders are just the start).

And for a real time on the Hill, check out the back bar at Charlie's

@6, yes, I've heard patrons of the Red Door complaining about your presence there and how you make life unbearable for everyone.

@7 lol.

You've never watched a real football game. In the driving wind and snow, home boy.

I grew up on PennState and Michigan football.

Forecast for Sunday in Seattle: high of 54, mostly sunny, 10% chance of precip.

Kickoff is at 3pm local time. I might catch the second half.

This year, the game coincides with Mother's birthday, so ... yeah.

Thankfully, she's a football fan, and wants to see the game. But I do admit it's still a bit awkward to drink that heavily in front of her.

I will not break my winning streak of not having watched a single super bowl ever. And I'm glade as now know what it sounds like to have family members who do scream at the TV when watching any damn sport.

Actually, I did hear a little of last years game on the radio. But, I still will not watch it on TV ever.

We're throwing a party at the house this year. Nacho bar, meat and vegan chili, and liquor served from bottles encased in ice. And, I'm guessing, copious amounts of pot.

@9, yes, I will never in a million years be able to match your football-watching prowess, you superstud, you. Because you "grew up on" Penn State football when you were living in San Antonio and New York and Trail, BC. How many little boys did you touch at Penn State, now that you mention it?

Do note, however, that I wasn't saying anything about football games. I was talking about the fact that everywhere you go you leave a trail of disgusted and annoyed people behind you who have had to listen to your inane ramblings. You may well be the greatest Football Game Watcher of all time, but the people at the Red Door, to name just one, hate and ridicule you.

Buckley's if isn't too packed.

But let's some all important ground rules.

If you don't know the game stay home. Kind of ruins the whole crowd response when everyone else has to roll their eyes to questions like "What's a safety?"

Like any Championshiop game (or a live show for that matter), all talk not directly relevant to the game being played must be kept to a minimum. Saying high and ordering are about it. Flirting is, of course, excepted but going on about your job, partner, your cat whatever is right out. Deciding you need to catch up in detail with your friend that you haven't bothered spending any time in years with is way over the top.

No god damn Drama, if you want to fight and or break up do it at your place.

Enjoy the place or go home, don't bitch about how busy the staff is during the Superbowl.

Don't take up a seat contemplating a glass of water for 3 hours. Order something and tip.

The 9 people in your group may not all fit at table for 4. Just sayin.

Be polite, go along and get along. If you expect a gold star for not being asshole or two for being one - stay home.

Actually, watch the game.

Casa de McKinnon in Pioneer Square! 60" screen, new leather loungers, catered wings and few high octane Belgians from my work. I'm gonna push for us to head to some place totally tight in the neighborhood like The Central or Cowgirls Inc during the 2nd half when we're good and drunk to out Superbowl everyone else in the bar.

This is the good Super Bowl Commercial Bingo Game:

It runs in Internet Explorer, including Windows smart phones.

Enjoy!
