Heavy Cream LP Produced By Ty Segall

Posted by on Tue, Apr 3, 2012 at 3:40 PM

Nashville's Heavy Cream (currently on tour with Hunx and Punx) are about to release a new album Super Treatment, which sounds like it got the ROYAL TREATMENT from Sir Ty Segall. Listen to the first single, from the mostly female garage punks... LISTEN TO THAT VOICE! Ah, that voice. Reminds me a bit, in the best possible way, of the Runaways. Listen:

"John Johnny" first single on Super Treatment

Super Treatment will be available May 8th on Infinity Cat.

What? I straight walked out on this band 3 songs into their set, and I don't do that often.

Do tell BP @ 5! Why?

They def have more of a later Donnas vs. Del Monas/Slingbacks thing happening.

@6 - I just thought they were really bad. The riffs were 5th-rate, and the lyrics were too dumb for a guy who prefers everything lowbrow. Just really bad, really boring.
