While watching tUnE-yArDs yesterday, I overheard a guy and a girl complaining that Merrill Garbus reminded them too much of Kimya Dawson. While I didn't see their point, aside from both being human + female, they then spent the remainder of the set complaining about Kimya Dawson's "wacky childish aesthetic." Later, I spotted L. Mizell wearing some a pair of Kimya Dawson socks.
I think that Bree or Emily are going to re-cap the tUnE-yArDs show, which was the most mesmerizing thing I've seen all weekend. The crowd was rapt for every second.
