I've been keeping an eye on the grunge listings on the Seattle area Craigslist for a few weeks and am kicking myself for not making this post sooner. For the past week there had been a listing for every issue of the now defunct Rocket weekly newspaper. Well, it might not have been every issue, I don't remember the advert exactly. I know the seller was asking more than $2000. Perhaps it's gone because the listing expired or perhaps they've been sold. I'll keep my eye open for a re-post, I was hoping to interview the author for more answers.

Otherwise, it seems that grunge sales are slow since the last post. The Alice In Chains shirt and Kurt Cobain autographed copy of Bleach on CD are still both for sale. Oh, the Chris Cornell autographed 8"x10" photo for $225 is also still available, but everybody knew that wasn't going to sell at that price. Overall, the analysts report that the trend is down once again this week.

Here's a graph that I just made in MS Paint. As you can see, I'm really bad at MS Paint.

That graphic cracks me up! I collect a lot of Seattle history stuff, too. Mostly t-shirts and trucker hats. Please keep looking, this is fun!

Today at Safeway I saw a "Loser" beer made for Sub-Pop by the Elysian brewery. Should I buy one? Will it be worth money someday?

Yeah, buy it! It's worth money now. It's worth the amount of money that somebody will buy it for!

Someday that can of "Loser" beer will be worth as much as my can of "Billy" beer, which is worth approximately fuck-all-diddly.

That Loser beer is decent enough, worth buying to *gasp* drink.
