The storefront of Cafe Racer today is surrounded by mourners and television crews filming mourners, television crews jockeying for better angles on mourners, and television crews interviewing mourners.
Anywho, I ran into Cafe Racer bar manager Ben Dean, who says Sunday night's Racer Sessions will take place in the alley behind Cafe Racer. They're bringing in a stage, and there will be donation opportunities available. The ad hoc services and memorials have been taking place on Roosevelt and 59th day and night since the day of the shootings, but Sunday night seems like the best time to come and pay your respects. It should sound something like this...
...only WAY louder.

Racer Sessions co-organizer Andrew Swanson writes:
We're having a gigantic outdoor session in the alley behind the café on Sunday night at 8 pm sharp.
We've planned to incorporate a fundraising element into the night's proceedings, and we'll be selling Racer Sessions Curator Compilation discs for a minimum donation of $5. All of the proceeds raised will be directed to a fund that will benefit the families of all victims involved in Wednesday's horrific shooting, including the Bellevue woman who was murdered downtown.
We want to pay fitting tribute to our dear friends lost, and to ensure that the positive environment and thriving community centered here in the Café Racer universe can persist in wake of this unimaginable tragedy.
