To nobody's surprise, the Grunge trend gained .8% this week to 43.2 on the scene index. Many of the listings from the last two weeks remain for sale, including PEARL JAM TOURING BAND 2000 DVD - $3 (renton), ALICE IN CHAINS "DIRT" VINTAGE T-SHIRT LOOK!!!!!!!!! - $30 (Edmonds), CHRIS CORNELL AUTHENTIC FRAMED 8X10 AUTOGRAPH L@@K! SOUNDGARDEN! - $225 (Edmonds), and Super Rare Kurt Cobain Authentic Autograph on Bleach CD - $1000 (Seattle).

There are some exciting new listings this week though!

THE ROCKET unique music magazine - $2150 (West Seattle)
Here's the listing that I was lamenting last week, the first 220 issues of Seattle's bi-weekly newspaper, The Rocket. The price may seem a bit steep, but it includes shipping to anywhere in the Continental U.S.A. With the amount of important history contained in the pages, this listing is the SCGW buy of the week.

Kurt Cobain's Smells Like Teen Spirit Sweater! - $1000 (Seattle)
Here's a doozy of an item, found "at a thrift store years ago." The seller is also going to throw in a grunge-tastic thermal undershirt. This is apparently the same type of sweater worn by Kur(d)t Cobain in the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video and the seller has included a wonderful photo of Kurt sitting next to a plate of what looks like chicken bones and a can of Miller Genuine Draft. The price tag may seem steep, but the seller is willing to trade for the Melvins van.

Other items this week include:

Westone Electric Guitar - $150 (Queen Anne)
"It's a great guitar, plays good clean blues, but where this one really shines is in the grunge sound."

Guess Jeans Baby 12M Shirt, Hoodie Vest, and Shorts Set - Grunge :) - $10 (Shoreline/Lake Forest Park)
"Sort of grunge style; great for alternative look to other baby clothes."

Nirvana & The Story Of Grunge - $10 (Port Orchard)
"This is a" Mojo Classic" special edition, magazine from the U.K. Came out in 2006."

But isn't that Cobain sweater currently on display at the EMP?

@2: That sweater company made more than one. I think this is one of the other ones.

Honestly, $150 for that guitar with its hardcase is a pretty decent deal. Too bad about that grunge thing...

Oops, I guess I wasn't reading this very closely. I missed the word "type" and thought the ad. was for "the" sweater.
