You Can Grow Ideas In The Garden Of Your Mind

I will never forgive my 8-year old self for writing Mr. Rogers that nasty piece of hate mail. When he personally wrote back, my mom read the letter with me, and told me, "I'd never get anywhere in life by being a mean little girl."

When this popped up on Facebook, and after I watched it three or four times, I got inspired to watch Mr Rogers' testimony to Congress for Public Television funding.

That man was a true saint. The most accepting person I've heard of, and his TV personality was the real deal: he really was that nice, IRL.

Thanks for posting this. :) my nostalgia is almost palpable.
