Booze / Film Sun City Girls, Alvarius B Contribute to Absinthe Soundtrack

Absinthe, a documentary about the potent alcoholic beverage beloved by bohemians that was banned in the early 20th century but which has made a comeback in recent years, features soundtrack contributions from the now-defunct Seattle experimental-music iconoclasts Sun City Girls and Alvarius B (SCG bassist Alan Bishop). Other musicians appearing on the soundtrack include Matt Valentine, Thurston Moore, Marc Orleans, and Squeak E. Clean. You can view the film, which was directed by Chris Buddy, here.
