As Casey noted in yesterday's music new post, Laura Jane Grace, the lead singer of Against Me! who came out as transgender last month, did her first sit-down, on-camera video since coming out:

Prepare for goosebumps. I got chills when she said: "It feels like I'm in control of my life and I'm in control of my person, and that's empowering. Saying to someone I'm a transexual is the most empowering thing I've ever felt in my whole life."
