Radio Diamond Rugs on KEXP This Morning?

Did anyone else hear new group Diamond Rugs (members of Deer Tick, the Black Lips, Dead Confederate, and Los Lobos) on the NYC live show on KEXP this morning?!
They sounded DRU-UH-UNK! Drunk as skunks! Drunker than your drunk uncle!
They were still good. A sure sign of a professional partier musician.

I already hated the name, then I heard the performance. Now that I know who's responsible for this dad rock abortion, I feel the urge to go home and snap my copy of "Let it Bloom" in half. Sad.
