Song Don't Talk to the Cops!'s - "I Like Nerds (Suspence Remix)"

Former Saturday Knights member DJ Suspence has a lovely remix of Don’t Talk to the Cops!’s “I Like Nerds” from their Let’s Quit album. Stressing a muted, beautifully shimmery guitar riff (reminds me of the part from Ramsey Lewis’ “Sun Goddess”) and a clipped, funky house beat, Suspence infuses a salutary summeriness into the original. It’s a serious antidote for this June-uary bullshit we’ve been experiencing.
