Brightblack Morning Light: Good for Headaches

Posted by on Fri, Jul 13, 2012 at 11:51 AM

In a previous post about listening to music while ill, I observed that Brian Eno’s Thursday Afternoon and Neroli are practically the only things that I could tolerate. I’d like to add another artist to this pantheon of soothing music to absorb while fighting headaches and nausea: Brightblack Morning Light.

This morning I woke up with the sort of headache that makes countenancing a computer screen a horrifying prospect. I put on Brightblack Morning Light’s Motion to Rejoin album and let its caressing tones and deliquescing psych-blues dissipate my brain pain. Well, that and some sleep. I woke up feeling better. Now you know.
