What Are You Listening to in Your Post-Block Party and/or Monday Morning Haze?

Posted by on Mon, Jul 23, 2012 at 10:54 AM

My brain (and feet) are exhausted from this weekend—three days, dozens of bands, hundreds of words, and thousands of seconds I should've been sleeping but wasn't. So today, as we wrap up our Block Party coverage and begin the recovering process, my brain needs something easy. Not boring, but not demanding either. I've found happiness with the latest Joy Wants Eternity album, The Fog Is Rising. It's gorgeous and soothing, and just what I need right now.

What are you listening to in your post-Block Party/Monday haze?

Care of Cell 44 - The Zombies, would be my choice. First line of the song dedicated to the tired and hungover Block Party recoverees this morning.

I didn't stay long enough to see if she played it; so I'm just listening to Neko Case's (post-chbp-appropriate) "Wish I Was the Moon" over and over.
