Music News for July 24, 2012 feat. An Update With Pussy Riot, A Sparkmarker Reunion, and an Iron Maiden Fan Getting Called Out for Texting In the Front Row

The People Need to Know: Pussy Riot members are going to stay in jail until next year. The Russian court announced that they will be broadcasting the trial and their hearings with the next one scheduled for July 30th. Among the girls' proposed witness list was Vladimir Putin and Patriach Kirill, both of which, surprisingly, denied to testify.

A Day Trip to Canada: Vancouver's 90s hardcore band Sparkmarker are set to do a reunion show on September 28 in downtown Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre. Joining them on the bill will be Seattle's Narrows.

One More Ugh For the Day: Not only can you like "cat sneezing" on Facebook, but now you can see a terrified looking cat sitting on top of Morrissey's head. The photo would have been better if the cat was wearing a sweater.

Caught Cold Handed: A fan that was standing front row at an Iron Maiden concert got called out hard by lead singer Bruce Dickinson, "You've been texting for the last three songs. You're a wanker." Ironically the call-out was caught on someone's cell phone.

Tuesday Morning on the Watch: Refused covered a Cro-Mags and Bad Brains song with John Joseph recently. And unlike at Rain Fest this year, John Joseph doesn't stand by the mic stand like he's Steven Tyler in the video.

Let's Not Take Things So Personally, Kids: MC Chris kicked out a fan over a tweet that they did about the opening act. But give him credit, he did feel bad about it afterwards and posted an apology.

So Many Documentaries, So Little Time: Circle Jerks have a documentary coming out called "My Career as a Jerk."

The Morrissey cat photo is from 2010. Not really breaking news.

That person should be eternally grateful they didn't have to watch MC Chris.
