The real highlight of the weekend:

The original line-up of girl band Sugababes have regrouped and launched under a new name called Mutya Keisha Siobhan.

A spokesperson for the trio confirmed they have signed a recording deal with Polydor and that they are writing songs for an album.

The announcement comes after months of rumours that a possible reunion could be on the cards.

Earlier this year, we wrote: Not Pulp, Space, fIREHOSE, Beach Boys, Inspiral Carpets, Dexys Midnight Runners, Black Sabbath, Ultramagnetic MCs, Steps, or The Stone Roses. This year, the mega-jewel of rumored reformations is the Sugababes. The original Sugababes. Including Siobhán Donaghy, who crafted her 2007 solo album Ghosts —the single most beautiful full-length pop artifact of the last decade.

Popjustice lands the first interview.

Everyone gets new photos.

A friend writes: 'I have no idea who they are, but their hair is fucking glorious'.

Seeing how it is a running trend in your posts, I conducted some brief online "research" as to why one might refer to their singular self as "we," and it yielded two possible answers: 1) You suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder, or 2) You are a pompous git.
