I'm Still a Virgin Lightnin' Hopkins Never Did Do Nothing at Lightning Speed

Here is Mr. Lightnin' Hopkins, lazy...as po' Lightnin' was. Lordy. His showmanship was never less than, "Take it easy baby, ain't no reason to run."
I've sat here all day tryna figure out exactly what to WRITE about this song...but then, I just kept this on repeat listening to each note and watching his hands.

Well, I saw him from a few feet away in an Austin bar back in the '70s, and I can testify that he could play licks as fast as Hendrix could. His effortless technique just makes it seem like he's playing slow.
